Another Blogroll Review

Well since I did my last blogroll review back at the end of September, there has been a huge shift in the blogging landscape.

Both Iain Dale's Diary and Tory Bear blog have closed with their respective authors moving on to other projects. In the case of Harry Cole (fka Tory Bear) he is now co-writing the Guido Fawkes blog which makes it's d├ębut in my blogroll; not a blog I've followed in the past, but perhaps I will now.

Iain Dale has said he will launch a new website in the near future, but not a blog. I will, however, be interested to see what he has to offer.

Another addition to my blogroll is Left Foot Forward. A Labour leaning blog that replaces Labour List in my own short-list as, in my humble opinion, the posts were deteriorating in quality and tending to resort to attacking groups and individuals on flippant subjects, something that I've always detested.

To even things out a bit, I have decided to reintroduce Conservative Home to the list, but more specifically The Tory Diary section. The section is currently 8th in the Wikio political blogs rankings.

Student blogs seem to have dried up a bit. I'm retaining Joe Oliver's Observations as he is yet to say he is not continuing to update his site (and there have been protracted gaps in posts before), but if anyone has seen a good student/higher education blog then please let me know so I can take a look and possibly add it to the blogroll.
